Onlyµnique – the new art community

Well, I showed and shared my works on several online art communities (and I still doing this) to get into communications with other artists. But for several reasons I never was satisfied, either the community was more facebook-like or to complicated or more specialised on another way of art I like to do.

So in december 2012 my friend and I founded our own art community called Onlyµnique.

Onlyµnique shall give creativity and unique artworks a home and so Onlyµnique is platform where artists can discover, show, share and promote their artworks with other artists. It shall be a home for photography works, digital or traditional art and because of that a home for creativity and communication between artists.

So we are still at the beginning and the community has to grow but we looking forward to amazing artists who love to share their artworks with us.

Photomanipulation in Black and White

To express emotions very well, I often choose a black and white version for the manips. So it’s much more easier to point out some facts of the work or even some structures which underline the statement of a work.

digital art – painting style

Manipulation – creating a new work out of stocks – means an excellence concerning the blending techniques, the lightning and also concerning the color adjustment. It doesn’t matter, doing manipulations, if you use photos or paintings or both of it. Creating a digital work which looks like a painting means to use painted stocks, certain textures and/or filters making as a result a painting effect.

Space or fantasy art is a very hard job for me because either the scapes don’t exist in real life nor they are real. But I love all the imaginations and feelings shown in these works. The works show either a feeling of expanse and freedom or a situation of threat.

cappuccino, milk and chocolate

Sometimes I really like to do something “different”, means I like to combinate different subjects that don’t occur together in normal life. And that’s the reason why I created three works combing non-alcoholic drink themes and other figures in each of the three works.

The works are called cappuccino, fruit milk shake and power of chocolate.

Two years ago I started with digital art.
And well, I’m not really good with painting but I love to work with photos.
So I discovered the world of digital photomanipulation.
No retouching works but creation of new scenes and impressions based on several stock photos which are offered from stock artists in several communities.
Today I’m still learning how to create amazing digital photomanipulation
and I’m still experimentating with styles and techniques. And I really love this work.
This site is to show you some of my work and also photos
but also to show to other works from digital artits or photographers
to share great imaginations.
